Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs began with big dreams and a heart for ministry. She and her husband welcomed five children in ten years, including identical triplet girls. Life was full, fast, and filled with love—until two of the triplets were diagnosed with cerebral palsy, forever reshaping their family’s story.
The medical diagnosis rocked Dee’s world. Ministry shifted from church planting to constant caregiving and advocacy. Yet, Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs shows how caregiving became a new, holy calling—a daily act of faith and love, supported by community and her devoted mother who moved in to help.
Years of caregiving led to severe fatigue, digestive issues, and emotional exhaustion. “I was barely functioning,” Dee recalls. But this low point became a critical chapter in Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs, as she sought healing through holistic health and God’s renewing strength.
Dee discovered that small steps—like walking, better nutrition, and rest—could lead to big breakthroughs. Her healing didn’t happen overnight, but over time. These practices became the foundation of her work with Saddleback Church’s Daniel Plan, a wellness initiative rooted in faith.
As Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs continued, walking became more than exercise—it was a lifeline. Eventually, she trained for a half-marathon. The result wasn’t just physical strength—it was restored confidence, joy, and spiritual clarity.
Out of her own healing came Dee’s desire to help others. She founded Rise Together Today, a coaching program that helps women pursue holistic health through small, faith-filled steps. Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs now inspires others to rise, one day at a time.
Whether leading Bible studies or cheering her daughters on in the Paralympics, Dee lives generously. Her daughter’s success in the World Para Surfing Championship is a testament to the perseverance woven through Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs.
Dee’s daughter Megan’s involvement in Young Life Capernaum led Dee to discover a new calling—disability ministry. This special-needs outreach gave her renewed purpose and extended the impact of Dee Eastman’s journey: fitness & faith through life’s curveballs to even more families.
